As you have noticed my blogger account has been hacked numerous times lately. I keep changing my google password, and all of my other email accounts passwords, and it keeps happening. Anyone have any idea at all what to do about it?
Go to your Blogger Dashboard, and make sure the hacker didn't set themselves up as a contributor. A friend took his blog private, but he made all his friends contributors instead! That's why I thought of it. The password ideas are good, too. Complicated, long, 14 characters is good. Use a phrase like "TomSawyerandHuckleberryFinn" but change an "o" to a "0" (zero) and throw in an "@" instead of an "a".
I think that Jay is onto the best idea, of creating a complicated password. Unfortunately (or I guess you could say fortnightly) I don't have much experience with being hacked, so I don't have much to ad. I sure hope that you are able to get it all sorted out and fixed!
The only thing I can think of is change your password and make it something upper case, lower case, and with numbers too.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear this is happening.
I was wondering what happened.
ReplyDeleteI'd stick with making a nearly impossible one.
You don't keep passwords stored, do you?
